Chapter Meetings, Presentations, Conferences, and Networking Events

In keeping with ARMA International’s mission for records management, to educate, advocate and provide resources that enable professionals to manage information as a critical element of the organizational operations and governance, the Capitol Chapter has a proposed schedule of educational events for the 2016-17 fiscal year. The Capitol Chapter will host presentations by expert speakers to present and discuss Records and Information Management (RIM) topics. In addition, we will periodically host networking events for sharing and gaining knowledge on topics of your choosing. Please keep checking back for future events, get on our contact list by registering on this site, or join us on Linked-In.

Join the Sacramento Capitol ARMA Chapter for the 18th Annual “Toys for Easter Seals” December social and charity event. Our entertainment is the smooth “Midtown Jazz” – playing a mix of mellow jazz, R&B and light rock. To learn more about them visit http://midtownjazz.com/

There is no charge for this event, but each attendee is requested to bring a $12-$15 gift for a boy or girl (ages 3 – 12, unwrapped) as the ticket to indulging in the spirit of Holiday giving while receiving good food, music and fellowship. An Easter Seals representative will be present to speak about Easter Seals and accept our gifts for the children.

Meet and enjoy heavy appetizers prepared by Christophe Cornet, the former personal chef to The NBA Kings. Beverages (soft, wine and some cocktails) included, but don’t be shy about BYOB of you favor a special drink.

RSVP:  It is not only courteous, but very helpful, to let us know in advance that you will be attending. This event (karma-enhancing with free food and drink) draws a good crowd and it is a fun event, so please RSVP by December 6th to assure plenty of food and beverages for all.

May your Christmas be Merry and all your Holidays Happy!
